If you're leading or mentoring the next generation — here are a few things that matter more than you might think:

✨ Let them be young.

Their energy, creativity, and questions are strengths, not distractions. Don’t rush them out of their youthfulness — lean into it. It may seem annoying, but sometimes the rabbit-trailing leads somewhere!

👏 Champion their skills.

Call out what they’re good at. Speak life into their potential. They may not fully see it yet — your words can shape or shake their confidence. It's important to know your team!

👂 Listen first.

Before offering advice, truly listen. Don’t jump in to fix or correct. Hear them all the way through. Most people just need to hear their own voice to work through it.

❓ Ask to understand, not to speak.

Curiosity builds bridges. Questions like “Can you help me understand?” or "can you tell me how you thought of this process?" go so far! You don’t have to have all the answers — just being present, open, and encouraging goes a long way. You are helping to build the future!
